Located close to the bars in the north of the city, gay owned and operated, owner and staff very friendly and the owner knows the local scene very well. All rooms have TV, video, fridge and mini-bar; small rooms from 1,300 Baht a night, suites from 2,400 Baht a night, and beautiful apartment suites from 3,600 Baht a night. 7% VAT is added to the room rates, but there are much lower charges for longer stays and stays in the low season (May to October). Has a garden bar as well.

Tucked away in a garden location not too far from the action, this new, stylishly decorated boutique hotel is already getting very positive feedback. Each of the six rooms has air conditioning, shower and LCD TV, with Wi-Fi internet access throughout the premises. Thai food is on offer during the day, except on Mondays, and there’s a selection of wines from around the world. Guests need to use the fridge in the shared loft area, where they can also cook for themselves. Bicycles are available. The friendly staff can also arrange motorbike rentals, tours, trekking, and – for a small charge – airport transfers.
