ASO Award for Tarntawan Place and Dick's Cafe Bangkok

Both the Tarntawan Place and Dick's Cafe Bangkok have received the prestigous ASO Gold Level Award from Mr. Surin Chiravisit, the Director General, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour.
"The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour and the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health awards the AIDS-response Standard Organization (ASO-Gold Level) Certificate to: Tarntawan Place Hotel / Dick's Cafe Bangkok
In recognition of effectively managing HIV/AIDS in the workplace in line with the following ASO criteria:
- Non-discrimination towards employees living with HIV/AIDS
- Support for employees living with HIV-AIDS
- Provision of HIV/AIDS education for employees and community involvment
"Achieving the ASO standards demonstrates leadership and corporate responsibility towards the community. The above company assists in the prevention of HIV transmission in the workplace and provides a supportive working environment for HIV-positive employees."
The award is accredited by The Thailand Business Coalition on AIDS (TBCA) and Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand.
The award was issued on 21 April 2005.
