Bangkok Pride to hand out donations and say thanks

In a press release Bangkok Pride Coalition announced they will be saying “thank you” to all its friends and supporters, presenting cheques to the charities designated to receive funds raised as part of Bangkok Pride 2003, and gearing up for 2004 at a good times party to be held at Freeman Dance Arena, on Thursday evening, March 11th, starting at 7.30 p.m.
Bangkok Pride Coalition will be making donations to four designated charities: Alden House, Bangkok Rainbow, Rainbow Sky, and Sappan. In addition Bangkok Pride will be expressing its strong appreciation to all who assisted, whether as volunteers, sponsors or members, towards the success of Bangkok Pride 2003. Announcements of plans for Pride 2004 will be made along with the introduction of the new Bangkok Pride team for 2004.
All are invited - Bangkok Pride Thank You Party, 7.30 p.m., Thursday, March 11, Freeman Dance Arena, 60/18-21 Silom Road. Fun night, good times, fun friends, and a good cause.
Bangkok Pride Coalition, organiser of Bangkok Pride, is a not-for-profit, all volunteer membership organisation that produces entertainment and informational events to promote a positive image of the gay and lesbian community in Thailand, and raises money for needy Thai charities. The English language equivalent of the Bangkok Pride Thai language slogan is "Freedom, Diversity, Unity", and recognises the great diversity in Thailand's gay and lesbian communities.
