Phuket Pride 2007 Dates Announced

The 2007 Phuket Pride Committee have announced that the 8th Annual Phuket Pride Celebration will take place March 29, 30, 31 and April 1, 2007 with major events scheduled for each day.
29th March (Thursday)
- GLBT Bowling Contest
- Pre-Opening Red Carpet Party at Paradise Complex “Way Out” strip including Fashion Show, Phuket Idol (Karaoke Talent) Contest and Best Superstar Costume Contest
30th March (Friday)
- Gay Phuket Beach Volleyball Tournament (Preliminary)
- Pride Carnival on Patong Beach including Gayhunt Phuket Contest and Miss Queen Phuket Contest
- Official Opening of Phuket Pride Festival at Patong Beach including fireworks display and light show
- Stage Performance at Patong Beach including cabaret shows, fire dance, cultural performance, and etc.
- Sunset Foam Party featuring famous DJ
31st March (Saturday)
- Gay Phuket Beach Volleyball Tournament (Semi-Final/Final)
- Phuket Pride Festival Beach Party & Concert at Patong Beach Soccer Field with special appearance by Thai singers and featuring famous DJs
1st April (Sunday)
- 8th Annual Phuket Pride Grand Parade along Patong Beach from Sea Pearl Hotel to Patong Beach Soccer Field
- Phuket Pride Festival Finale Party at Patong Beach
- Stage Performance at Patong Beach including cabaret shows, fire dance, cultural performance, Awards Ceremony and Phuket Pride Festival Lucky Draw
- Beach Foam Dance Party featuring famous DJ
Night events are planned to be completed by 10 p.m. Luck draw tickets will be available at each event.
