It was Phuket's turn to show its gay pride last weekend, and show it they did in true Phuket style - the Paradise complex was alive with soi parties and shows and the parade itself attracted a good crowd on Sunday.
Things had been fairly slow around town in the weeks leading up to the festival - it had not been that busy a high season - and the Friday and Saturday soi parties appeared to be down in numbers compared to last year, but a good time was still had by all who attended.
The Sunday parade and soi party were well attended with some great floats and costumes. The post-parade soi party in Phuket is usually for more energetic and free-form than in Bangkok and Pattaya, and this year was no exception with dancing and lots of activity in the main Paradise soi - where these guys get their energy is beyond me!

Meanwhile in Bangkok and Pattaya the Chinese New Year decorations have been replaced with Valentine's Day hearts and cupids so get in a romantic mood if you are planning on going out in the next few days!
