Bienvenue a “La Fete”! Running from 2 February to 29 March, the eighth French-Thai cultural festival under this name is being organised by L’Alliance Francaise de Bangkok as it celebrates its 100th anniversary year. In addition to a season of French film, around 20 live shows will be seen in Bangkok, with cinema or performance events in Khon Kaen, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Koh Samui and Hua Hin. Though not a specifically gay happening, La Fete usually delivers a high level of style on stage and screen, and a high level of cologne among the audience. Details.

Improbably, they came to fame in the era of black and white television, but the party in Paradise Complex, Phuket, should be a riot of colour.
